ClearPath was founded in 2014 by Dr. Amara Ochieng and Sarah Nalubega, two professionals who had experienced firsthand the lack of accessible, high-quality coaching support for working professionals in Uganda. They believed that the gap between Uganda's enormous talent and the opportunities available could be bridged — with the right guidance.
Starting with a small office in Nakasero, Kampala, and a team of three, they began working one-on-one with mid-level managers and emerging leaders. Word spread quickly. Within two years, ClearPath had grown to serve over 200 individual clients and had begun its first corporate training engagement with a leading Ugandan bank.
Today, ClearPath operates from a dedicated consulting centre in Kampala, has a team of 18 certified professionals, and has served clients across Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania. Our core belief has never changed: every professional deserves a clear path forward.

Dr. Amara Ochieng and Sarah Nalubega open a small coaching practice in Nakasero with a team of three, focusing on one-on-one executive coaching.
Launched a 6-month professional development programme for 45 managers at a leading Ugandan bank — our first large-scale corporate engagement.
Opened Uganda's first dedicated professional communication skills training programme, which has since trained over 800 individuals.
Rapidly expanded our virtual coaching offering during the pandemic, reaching clients across Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania for the first time.
Opened our dedicated 3,000 sq ft consulting centre on Nakasero Hill Road, complete with coaching suites, a training hall, and a resource library.
Recognised as East Africa's Leading Coaching & Consulting Firm by the African Professional Development Association for the second consecutive year.
Surpassed the milestone of 1,200 individual coaching clients and 150 organisational partnerships — and we are just getting started.
